The Legacy

A vision planted by Srila Prabhupada, blossoming for generations

In 1975, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada established the Krishna Balaram Mandir in Raman Reti — the very forest where Krishna and Balaram played as children. It was among the last temples he built with his own hands.

Today that vision continues to grow. The Krishna Balaram Cultural Center will preserve Vaishnava heritage, nurture education, and welcome the millions of pilgrims who journey to Vrindavan each year.

Serving in the Food for Life kitchen changed me. To see a tired pilgrim receive prasadam with folded hands — that is everything.
